![]() Cecilia in traditional dress |
My name is cecilia, I came to London in 1962. It was in june and it was still cold. It was easy to get jobs then. Accomodation was very diffecult to get i said to my husband i wish i could ship a room over here from my Daddy's house. They say there no children, no dog, no blacks.
My husband was laughing at me and said you can not go back now. I need your help. We leaved in one Large room with the cooker in one corner of the room, we share bathroom and the toilet the the tenants in the house. That was my first experience of coming to England.
