Moving Here welcomes stories written in English about migration to England for publication on its website. Because your story will be made available to web users anywhere in the world and used for educational purposes, certain terms and conditions apply to your submission. These are summarised below with links to the full statements, which you should read carefully before submitting a story:

Moving Here will accept material only if you own the copyright or you have obtained permission in writing for its use on the website and elsewhere as described below under 'Rights'. The rights of third parties including copyright, trademark, privacy, or proprietary rights must not be infringed.

Material that is unlawful, defamatory or in any way offensive will not be accepted for publication.

Moving Here has the right to reject a story if any of the above requirements is not met.

Publication

Moving Here has the right at its sole discretion to select and edit any material submitted, and subsequently to delete material from its website. Moving Here is not obliged to publish the material submitted.

We would like to receive your name and contact details in case of editing queries and in order to maintain a list of copyright owners. We will not publish your name on the website or pass your personal details to third parties without your express permission. Published stories will be kept in our digital archives for the duration of the Moving Here project.

We will create hyperlinks from your story to any external sites assuming these comply with the conditions given above under 'Content'.

The copyright of the material that you submit will remain with you and any contributors. However, by submitting material you and any contributors agree to our publishing it on our website, through the New Opportunities Fund, the People's Network, the National Grid for Learning or any similar public sector entity nominated by the New Opportunities Fund, in accordance with our Terms & Conditions of use, and its use in publicity material.
