I was born in Keishmar, one of the small towns in Iran in 1966.

My father was a police officer, and because of his job we always moved. So I grew up in many towns: Kashmare, Tabas, Gonabad and Mashhad. When I was eighteen I graduated from high school and after that I got married. My husband was studying science at university at that time. After one year, in 1986, my son was born. When he was one year old I went to the nursing university, and I graduated after four years at the same time my daughter was born.

I started my first job in a big hospital in 1990. Because of my abilities I was promoted by my boss very soon.

Before I came to England I was working as a head nurse for ten years.

Because I had a difficult job I always preferred to stay at home to rest. My hobbies are listening to music, watching movies, reading novels and, to tell you the truth, socialising as I like gossip.

I'm here in England because my sister lives here and offered me the chance to become a nurse here. First I came over as a tourist, and I felt I would like to move here. At the moment I am studying English at Dewsbury College.

At the moment I am looking forward to finding a good job here and hopefully very soon. I feel sad that I have left behind my family, my job, my co-workers, my home and friends.
