The piece features reports that were submitted to the West India Royal Commission by the League of Coloured Peoples. These wide ranging papers deal with the state of society in the area; particularly in relation to the economy, medicine and the legal system. Representatives of the League were invited to speak to the Royal Commission and a transcript of this interview is also included.
