Access and use by you of this site constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, which take effect from the date of first use. Moving Here makes all the content available on this website free of charge to users under the following conditions:

Permitted

1. You may use the content solely for your own private study, research, and instructional or educational purposes, either as printed copies or by downloading on to your personal computer.

5. Personal Contributions to Moving Here: Stories

1. To be published on the website a story must be in keeping with the clearly defined aims and subject matter of the Moving Here project i.e. migration to England.
2. Moving Here retains the right to choose or arrange material submitted and, at its sole discretion, to remove stories from the Moving Here website.
3. The Webmaster for the Moving Here site is the day-to-day editor of stories which are accepted for publication.
4. The Webmaster may alter the text of stories accepted for publication for the sake of clarity, without the author being notified.
5. Digital versions of images submitted with the story may need to be cropped by the Webmaster to facilitate the creation of thumbnails. This cropping will be done with sensitivity to the subject of the image.
6. Stories of a commercial, marketing or advertising nature are not acceptable.
7. Moving Here will aim to publish stories that are accepted for publication, within 10 days of their submission, in accordance with the conditions stated above.
8. Moving Here reserves the right to reject material on the grounds of copyright infringement, offensiveness or other legal considerations.
9. Moving Here is under no obligation to publish any story submitted.
10. Stories submitted may include hyperlinks to external web sites subject to Condition 8 above.

6. General

Unauthorised attempts to deny service, upload information, change information, or to attempt to access non-public data from this service are strictly prohibited and may be punishable to the full extent of the laws of England and Wales. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
