Which Experts Reviewed the Site?

Moving Here is grateful to the many experts who contributed their ideas, comments and knowledge to ensure that the information provided on the site is historically accurate, representative and as interesting as possible. These sections were often written in conjunction with the partners who have provided the material to illustrate it.

Migration Histories

Each time a new chapter is written for Migration Histories it goes through several processes of checking before it reaches your screen. After it is edited it is then sent to Peer Review. These reviewers check for the accuracy and tone of the chapter. Any alterations are made and then the final check is done by the Moving Here webmaster when it is prepared ready to load onto the website.

Once the text was written by experts who are familiar with the sources it was edited by the editor of Ancestors magazine at the National Archives.
