Interview with Suzanne Sampson
"We got married at the Hampstead Town Hall in Haverstock Hill. It was the time of the doodlebugs, they were coming all day long. I can't remember it but I was told by people who were at the wedding that it was a very frightening day. Being 1944 there was no paper so nobody had films for, and no films, there was no photographs taken. My mother some how organized food, because of rationing of course it was all very difficult."
