Liverpool docks

Catalogue Reference:(PRO) CO 956/506

A poster produced by the Empire Marketing Board, an organisation which operated between 1926 and 1933 to promote goods from the British Empire, depicts the River Mersey busy with shipping. As well as being a major port, Liverpool was also the first point of entry for many Irish migrants to England.
