An 1983 poster entitled 'Spirit of the Carnival' by Tam Joseph showing a figure wearing a ram's head and carnival costume dancing in the middle of a mass of policemen. A leashed dog breaks through the riot shields of the front row. This is a reference to the large police presence at the Notting Hill Carnival.
