In general, the quickest way to trace a grave is as follows: Contact the United Synagogue. There are some details from the early 1870s, but most information is obtainable after 1898. Approaches should be made to the Ilford Burial Society at the North East London Local Office address given above. (There is no charge) The Federation of Synagogues' records go back to about 1890.
