Microfilming began in 1993 in Minsk and Grodno. Some Jewish records have been microfilmed and became available in 1995.

Early revision lists (1795, 1811, 1816, 1842) were microfilmed in Minsk in 1995. There are 126 microfilms. See Avotaynu XII:1 (Spring 1996), page 9 for microfilm numbers. (They are also at feefhs.org)

Belarus SIG (covering the guberniyas of Grodno, Minsk, Mogilev and Vitebsk) was formed in1998. The Belarus special interest group www.jewishgen.org/Belarus offers a comprehensive guide to history and research in Belarus.
