Jews' Temporary Shelter, LondonThe Jews' Temporary Shelter was founded by Hermann Landau in 1885 to provide a refuge for the many hundreds of migrants from Eastern Europe. A careful record was kept of all who came to the shelter in registers and some of these appear here. |
