Bruce Castle Museum (Haringey Libraries, Archives & Museum Service)

Bruce Castle Museum (Haringey Libraries, Archives & Museum Service) is a Grade 1 listed 16th century manor house set in 20 acres of parkland. Since 1906 the building has been a museum and archive and is now run by Haringey Council. We offer a vibrant and valued local resource for schools, the community and visitors to Tottenham.

Our exhibitions tell the story of the history of Haringey, its changing landscape and its people. There are also temporary local history exhibitions and displays of art by local artists. We work with residents, groups and other partners to collect, interpret and care for Haringey's unique and multicultural heritage. Our collections cover archaeology, objects, documents & official records, photographs, paintings and oral histories relevant to Haringey's past and present communities.

We provide a lively educational programme of workshops, events, tours and talks about local history and heritage for schools, adult learning, students in further education and family learning.

Included in the Moving Here catalogue are souvenirs from the West Indies.
